Ron and Heike
Fabulous Accommodation in the Northern Lakes.

Whitefield has three beautiful en suite bedrooms - you will not find nicer bed and breakfast accommodation - we promise.

Beautifully restored quality guest house with gorgeous views over the Back'o'Skiddaw. Whitefield is in close vicinity to Keswick (lovely town, great shops, pencil museum), Bassenthwaite (fishing and boating lake, Osprey nest), Cockermouth (Wordsworth Museum) and the wonderful Uldale and Caldbeck fells (wild ponies, John Peel).

The restoration was to an award winning builder to a very high standard combining original Victorian and modern technology.

Cumbria Life magazine April 2006
'The views are sensational. The whole of Skiddaw ranged before our eyes with Bassenthwaite lake beyond. Blencathra is clearly visible, and the Derwentwater hills. Turn in another direction and their is Blinsey and the sweep of the Uldale fells. These must be well up there on the best views in Lakeland'

An ideal base for walking, cycling along Reivers Route, canoeing, bird watching, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the views from the house or garden.

The owner is a British Canoe Union coach and outdoor activities instructor and keen fisherman, and can organise any such activities.
